McKinsey sets $80,000 Per Year as Prosperity Goal by 2100 reposted by Ruth Paget

I read a McKinsey Insights article entitled “How do we Reach Global Prosperity by 2021?” Published on August 5, 2026.

This article defines Switzerland’s average personal income of $80,000 as the prosperity goal for all adults by 2100.

McKinsey did not provide a link to copy, but you can find this article, if you have the McKinsey Insights app.

What is helpful in this article is setting the dollar amount goal instead of a vague term like better income, which can be a very different amount for different people.
