Persepolis - an Iran graphic novel recommendation by Ruth Paget

Persepolis a graphic novel memoir about life of child in Iran by Marianne Satrapi is certainly an a propos read right now.  This graphic novel was made into a film as well.

Persepolis is intended for young adult readers, especially those interested in careers in politics or diplomacy.
