Rocks Candy Recipe by Ruth Paget 

Serves 6 to 8 

Ingredients: 

 -1 pound chopped walnuts 

-1 cup melted butter 

-1 ½ cups brown sugar 

-2 beaten eggs 

-1 teaspoon salt 

-2 cups flour 

-parchment paper for the cookie sheets 

Steps: 

1-Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. 

2-Combine nuts, butter, brown sugar, and eggs in a bowl until thoroughly blended. 

3-Combine salt and flour and add to the wet ingredients. Mix batter until well blended. 

4-Use two spoons to drop tablespoon-size dough onto parchment paper lined cookie sheet. 

5-Bake for 10 – 12 minutes or until light brown.
