The small happy mice of Mossflower Wood have to defend themselves against the evil fat rat named Clany in this improbable hit set in a medieval abbey written by Brian Jacques.

This was my favorite fantasy book when I worked as a youth services librarian that I also recommended to my own daughter and Minecraft players.
