Dried Apple Coffee Cake Recipe by Ruth Paget 

Serves 6 

Ingredients: 

-2 cups flour 

-2 teaspoons baking soda 

-1 teaspoon salt 

-1/2 cup sugar 

-1 teaspoon nutmeg 

-1 teaspoon vegetable oil 

-1/3 cup melted butter 

-3/4 cup milk 

-1/2 cup chopped dried apples 

Steps: 

1-Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. 

2-Mix flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, and nutmeg together in a bowl (dry ingredients). 

3-In another bowl, mix oil, melted butter, and milk together (wet ingredients). Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and blend well. 

4-Bake for 14 to 15 minutes. 

5-Cool in pan and cut in rectangles to serve.
